Management - Case study: Nortel

Having spent a portion of my career with Nortel, it is always interesting to read what others have to say about the challenges the company faced.

Recently, the Financial Times did a case study on Nortel ( / Management - Case study: Nortel) and came up with certain conclusions. Among others, reasons such as Nortel management's  “irrational exuberance” through customer financing and push towards a “software-centred telecom product company” were given for it's demise.
